The beginning of the 2014-2015 school year is right around the corner. Teachers, administrators and staff members are working around the clock as they prepare to “Lead the Way” for students to have a successful school year. As summer vacation comes to a close for parents and students, and as they begin to get ready for the start of school on Aug. 25, the district is launching yet another new and innovative medium (following suit of the new district website) to keep employees informed.

Welcome to the first edition of Employee Connection ​and our new blog site, a place where members of the community can easily access important information and highlights about Cypress-Fairbanks ISD. Replacing the format of the eConnection from previous years, the new Employee Connection will be published on Monday of each week and sent via email to all district employees. The weekly publication will also be posted and archived on the intranet as a resource to employees.

This edition is filled with information relevant to employees including important district dates, campus/employee highlights, tools, tips  and resources plus more. You can also stay up-to-date with the latest district news by following CyFairISD on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube​. At the end of each month, employees will receive the new Community Connect in lieu of the Employee Connection.  Next week's edition will feature the launch of our Superintendent’s Blog from Dr. Mark Henry. I hope you enjoy this first edition of Employee Connection and look forward to providing you with the latest CFISD news.
