Jerri
van Wunnik, technology teacher at Birkes
ES, has created a unique teaching tool for her kindergarten through fifth-grade students. Taking inspiration from the Internet, she used black take-out
boxes to create a large keyboard on her classroom wall. Die-cuts were used for
the letters, while the Windows logo was freehanded by Jerri.
“The
positive reaction from all my students and fellow staff members made it worth
all the hours it took to build,” she said.
Jerri
plans on using her creation as a visual guide for her students. You can follow
