Cypress Falls student creates 'Every Student, Every Day' logo

Associate Superintendent Roy Garcia honors Yasmin Chanthavong at the CFISD Annual Leadership Conference for her design of the "Every Student, Every Day" logo.

Cypress Falls HS senior Yasmin Chanthavong's design was chosen to represent the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD 2015-2016 school year theme of "Every Student, Every Day."

Chanthavong, a student in Kim Ross's art class, designed the logo, which uniquely displays the theme in many of the languages spoken by CFISD's 114,000 students.

She was recognized for the artwork by Roy Garcia, associate superintendent of school administration and leadership, during the CFISD Annual Leadership Conference on Aug. 4 at the Berry Center. 

Chanthavong's design will be used throughout the entire school year to brand the district theme on t-shirts, websites, social media, presentations and documents.
