CFISD celebrates Black History Month

CFISD schools celebrated Black History Month during the month of February. Students, staff and community members engaged in activities to spotlight the historical significance of black leaders in America and in CFISD.

Francone ES students celebrate Black History Month by reading the heritage bulletin board. Francone students and staff also read black history facts during morning announcements and had the option to dress in tradition African garments or clothes they felt represent Black History Month during a special soul food luncheon.
