| Hemmenway ES students and their parents learn about anatomy at Family Science Night. |
With help from the Houston Baptist University Biology Club and Cypress Ranch HS Key Club, the Hemmenway ES staff hosted their annual Family Science Night on Monday, Feb. 22.
More than 100 families joined in the hands-on fun and engaged with live animals, experimented with electromagnetism and buoyancy, learned about constellations in the night sky and much more.
Several awesome students from Cy Ranch HS facilitated the animal room where students had the opportunity to interact with cockroaches, a guinea pig and a turtle. The students from HBU helped everyone examine the DNA of strawberries and learn about the human anatomy.
