Throughout the years the district has experienced many challenges with the recycling program. Trash is left around the bins and frequently mattresses, large appliances and hazardous materials are left by the bins. This creates unsafe conditions for our students and staff members. The district is frequently required to redirect our limited resources to clean up hazardous conditions.
Due to continuing service issues and the improper use of the bins, it has been decided to discontinue the districts relationship with our two recycling services. We encourage community members interested in recycling to contact their local municipality or waste service provider and request recycling services.
