With arctic temperatures striking the Cy-Fair area over the weekend, the maintenance team responded to a dozen incidents of pipes freezing throughout the district. Cy-Fair HS had significant damage in the athletic areas, but the round-the-clock efforts of the Cy-Fair HS coaching staff, maintenance and operations teams helped in making sure that campuses were ready for students on Monday, Jan. 9.
"Although the repairs for Cy-Fair HS will take a few weeks, we are extremely thankful to our maintenance and operations crews for always being ready in times of need and protecting our district facilities," said Dillon Brady, assistant superintendent for facilities and construction.
