Teachers interviewed at Astros game for teacher appreciation

Arley Kocher, biology teacher at Cy Ranch HS (middle) and Hayley Dunn, counselor at Millsap ES (right) were interviewed during the Houston Astros game on Tuesday, May 2.

On Teacher Appreciation Night at Minute Maid Park, two CFISD educators were interviewed on their involvement with students in CFISD. Cy Ranch HS biology teacher Arley Kocher and Millsap ES counselor Hayley Dunn were recognized in the interview and given a free Astros tote bag filled with goodies.

"[The best thing about teaching is] the kids of course," said Kocher in the interview. "It’s something new and different every day and kids are hilarious."

"[The kids] are the reason we do what we do," Dunn said. "We do our best to support them so they can grow and learn to be their best."
