Anthony MS AP honored

Anthony MS AP Blake Coleman took a trip to the State Capitol to be formally recognized for his life-saving actions with student Grayson Barger on May 6. Anthony MS AP Blake Coleman was recognized on the floor of the Texas House of Representatives on May 6 for his life-saving actions with sixth-grade student Grayson Barger in February.

Grayson Barger and his father, Trent, were also in attendance, along with Roy Garcia, associate superintendent of school administration and leadership development, and Coleman’s wife, Katherine.

District 132 State Rep. Mike Schofield initiated the recognition for Coleman, who was also commended by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick during the visit.
