| Warner ES celebrated the May CORE Essential with a lesson on “Whirled Peace.” |
Students at Warner ES helped illustrate the guidance and
counseling department’s May CORE Essential of “Peace” with a unique lesson.
Using the theme “Whirled Peace,” each student expressed
what peace means to them and decorated a pinwheel to display around the
school. Approximately 1,116 pinwheels were displayed.
“Students at Warner learned that PEACE proves you care
more about each other than winning an argument,” said Warner ES counselor
Irasema Rocchi. “The site of 1,116 pinwheels was absolutely amazing!”
