As the district’s Horned Toad Tales reading program for elementary students in grades 3-5 ushers in its 12th year of fostering a love of great children’s literature, its committee members have announced the winner of a year-long logo contest: Shiloh Battise of Cy Springs HS. The logo contest was held in conjunction with the Horned Toad Tales committee and the art department.

The CFISD Horned Toad Tales committee produces a list of the top 20 books for children in grades 3-5 annually. The program is supported and loved on CFISD elementary campuses. The committee is made up of 11 district librarians read and evaluate the year’s best books.
