| Jane Rousseau, retired Walker ES nurse, passed away May 27 after a fight with cancer. Rousseau was a beloved staff member at and retired from Walker ES January 2016. |
Rousseau was a loving and compassionate school nurse who will be missed by many. She served CFISD students for many years with joy and compassion. She cared for every student and staff member at Walker even while battling for her own health, and was selected as one of Houston’s top 150 nurses in the May Houston Chronicle Salute to Nurses.
Services for Rousseau will be held June 4th at Trinity Episcopal Church at 11:00 a.m. for those who wish to attend.
