Chris Bowie, born July 14, 1970, was a beloved member of the Alternative Learning Center-East administrative staff. He passed away on March 15 after 25 years of service to CFISD.
Chris began his career in 1994 as a teacher at Langham Creek HS, serving two years before moving to Windfern HS as a teacher and at-risk specialist, then assuming the role of assistant principal where he served 10 years. He moved to the student services team as an attendance officer from September 2009-June 2010, then took over his current role as the assistant principal at ALC-East in July 2010.
In
addition to having served as a CFISD employee, Chris was a 1988 graduate of
Cypress Creek High School. The service will be held on Wednesday, March
20 at 2 p.m. at The Woodlands United Methodist Church in the Robb Chapel.
