The reading/language arts, second through fifth grade, curriculum department
is pleased to announce six new Literacy Model Teachers for the 2015-2016 school
year. Literacy Model Teachers empower and inspire other CFISD educators to use
best practices in literacy instruction through classroom observation,
professional development and peer coaching. There are now 35 second through fifth grade Literacy Model Teachers at schools throughout the district.
