In 2009, Swenke ES opened its doors to more than 700 students. Former and current staff members gathered on Jan. 25, 2019, to
celebrate the school’s 10-year anniversary.
The event featured a slideshow from the past decade, as well as yearbooks and memory books from all 10 years.
School namesake Deanna Swenke and her husband, Jim, were in attendance, as well as the campus's original principal, Donna Sheppard.
