Sept. 25, 1984 - April 30, 2022

William Cruz III, 36, a teacher at Cypress Ranch High School, passed away on April 30, 2022. He was born on Sept. 25, 1984, to William and Rosemary Cruz in Galveston. 

William is a long resident of Houston, TX. His family fondly remembers his integrity, his love for football, teaching history at Cypress Ranch, spending time with girlfriend Krista Specht, playing video games, serving others, and hanging out with his best friend--his father. He would gladly give of himself to others without hesitation. William was the most loyal, most giving, biggest heart, and gave the best hugs. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his son and loved ones.

William is survived by his son, William Cruz IV of Piedmont, Okla. He is also survived by his parents, William and Rosemary Cruz, sister Christian Mary Lausell, brother Christopher William Cruz, his nephews Noah, Immanuel, Elijah and Lennox, and his nieces Nevaeh, Cora, Nylah, Mia, Yasmine and Azalia.
