Sign Up for Legislative Updates

The 88^th Texas Legislative Session kicks off Jan. 10 in Austin.  CFISD’s Community Leadership Committee (CLC) invites you to sign up to receive important updates impacting public education and CFISD.

CLC updates will be shared via Remind. To sign up, you can enter your information on our online form (www.cfisd.net/clc2023), or simply text @clc2023 to 81010 and you will automatically opt in. You can also “like” our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter for updates via social media. 

The CLC is a diverse group of parents, business people, and retirees who believe that having a strong independent school district is important to the economic well-being of the Cypress-Fairbanks community. The mission of the CLC is to LEARN how local, state, and federal issues impact the quality of education in CFISD; SHARE information with parent, taxpayer, and business communities, enabling them to become more knowledgeable and engaged; and COMMUNICATE with elected officials, making them aware of the impact of proposed legislation on quality public education.
