Donnetta Sue Manning Lowry

Donnetta was an extremely dedicated, longtime CFISD employee. Donnetta began her career as a secretary in the curriculum department in 1979 and was later promoted to Deanna Swenke’s secretary in the 1980s. She later became the secretary to the associate superintendent for curriculum, still continuing in her support role for Deanna. Donnetta had served as Roy Garcia’s assistant since 2008. In May 2019, Donnetta received her 40-year pin. She was celebrating her 42nd year in CFISD. Donnetta’s powerful work ethic was instilled in her by her parents. 

Donnetta will be interred at John Wesley United Methodist Church beside her husband, William Tressler Lowry, Jr., who passed away in 1994.
