In Memory of Peggy Armistead
Peggy Armistead, an employee in the HR department, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. Peggy began her career with CFISD in January 1982 as a school bus driver. She became the secretary at the Barker Cypress Transportation Center in January 1998 and transferred to the Human Resources Department in November 2000. Peggy devoted her life to her family, friends, and CFISD. She continued to drive a bus route until January 2021 when she became too ill to drive. Peggy will be remembered for her love of others, her concern for everyone, and her selflessness.
Services for Peggy will be Friday, September 17, at Metcalf Funeral Home, 1801 East White Oak Terrace in Conroe Texas. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., with the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be Saturday in Moss Bluff, Louisiana.
