CFISD Police Officer Faladrick Brown, one of the campus officers at Cypress Creek HS, accepted the Law Enforcement Commendation Medal from the Texas Society Sons of the American Revolution on May 13.

The medal recognizes those “who have served with distinction and devotion in the field of law enforcement.”

Officer Brown previously worked at Cypress Springs HS, where he helped found the Men of Honor program that improved the culture and morale among male students on campus.

“It was truly an honor to be recognized by the Texas Society Sons of the American Revolution,” Officer Brown said. “This medal means so much to me. I feel like not only am I being rewarded, but the other officers whom I have the privilege to serve with are being recognized for all the positive interactions that we share throughout our schools and our communities.”
