The Home Depot located at 14085 Northwest Fwy. took part in
a beautification effort at Dean MS on Saturday, May 9. According to Dean SLC
CCIS Chiterria Stuckett, the school had wanted to update existing flowerbeds
but had been unable to do so.
“The Home Depot immediately offered assistance after we got
in touch with the store manager. An associate came to see the grounds and what
could be done to enhance them,” Stuckett said.
Through “Team Depot,” Home Depot’s associate-led volunteer
program, associates work side-by-side to create life-long, meaningful
relationships between the company, neighbors and associates. Team Depot
volunteers spent more than three hours landscaping the front and side of Dean
using plants, soil, mulch and pavers donated by distributors.

Team Depot volunteers said they enjoyed giving back to the
community and hoped to make a lasting partnership with Dean MS.
“Dean is truly grateful that The Home Depot was able to
provide this wonderful service to our school and community,” Stuckett said.
