Not enrolling in TRS-ActiveCare? Be sure to "waive" medical insurance

In compliance with Affordable Care Act regulations, all employees eligible for medical insurance choosing not to enroll in one of the TRS-ActiveCare medical health plans are required to “waive” the benefit in the benefitsCONNECT^sm on-line enrollment system.  Employees that do not enroll in or waive the benefit will be contacted via email or through their supervisor until the waiver is submitted on-line or a decline form is collected.
